Hana Shirriel

Hana Shirriel is an experienced health services professional currently serving as the Director of Senior Health Services Program Specialist at the City of Berkeley since August 2020, with a focus on School Based Health, immunizations, and anti-tobacco initiatives, as well as involvement as Union VP for Local 1. Previously, Hana held the position of Center Manager at LifeLong Medical Care from June 2014 to October 2020, overseeing operational planning, strategic growth, and management of clinical and non-clinical staff across multiple locations. Earlier roles include Adolescent Services Supervisor, Fellow with The Albert Schweitzer Fellowship, Academic Liaison at Making Waves Academy, intern at the Alameda County Juvenile Justice Center, and Summer Intern with Health Career Connection. Hana holds a Master's degree in Public Health and a Bachelor of Science in Health Education, both from San Francisco State University.
