Roop Soorma

Roop Soorma is a seasoned procurement professional with extensive experience in purchasing and supply chain management. Currently serving as a Senior Buyer at the City of Berkeley since April 2019, Roop oversees various responsibilities including procurement, sustainability initiatives, and management of citywide contracts. Prior roles include Buyer at the City of Berkeley, Procurement Administrator for the California Association of Food Banks, and Purchasing Agent positions at Saxco International LLC, Ross Stores, Inc., and Orcon Corporation.
