Sam Harvey

Sam Harvey is an experienced legal professional, currently serving as a Deputy City Attorney for the City of Berkeley since November 2019. Prior to this role, Sam worked as an Associate Attorney at The Sutton Law Firm from October 2017 to November 2019, and at Keyes & Fox LLP from October 2014 to August 2017, where Sam also held a Summer Associate position in 2013. Earlier legal experience includes a Legal Internship at the Climate Action Reserve in 2012 and a Staff Assistant role with the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Ethics from November 2009 to June 2011, along with an internship for Rep. Zoe Lofgren in 2009. Sam holds a Doctor of Law (JD) degree from the University of California, Los Angeles - School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in History with a Minor in Rhetoric from the University of California, Berkeley. Educational background includes senior secondary education at Bella Vista High School.
