Amanda McCellon

Amanda McCellon is an experienced planning and community development professional currently serving as the Director of Planning & Community Development for the City of Bethany, OK since February 2018. In this role, Amanda manages all activities within the department, oversees development and land planning initiatives, and addresses building and zoning issues. Prior to this, Amanda worked as a Community Development Coordinator for the City of Pittsburg, where responsibilities included serving as the Main Street Manager for a designated Texas Main Street. Amanda also has experience as the owner of Social Wonderland, LLC, specializing in social media management, and as the President/Co-Owner of Wonderland and Company, a DIY furniture retailer. Education credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Public Administration and a Master’s degree in Organizational Leadership, both from Southern New Hampshire University.
