Monte Sonksen

Monte Sonksen, CISSP, SSAP, currently serves as the IT Manager for the City of Bettendorf, overseeing all facets of cybersecurity and IT operations. Previously, Monte held the position of Davenport Works IT Manager at Arconic, where responsibilities included managing a 30-person team, cybersecurity initiatives, and leading significant IT projects. As Assistant Vice President at QCR Holdings, Monte managed systems analysts and developers, enhancing business processes through effective data management and Agile methodologies. With two decades of experience at John Deere in various leadership roles, Monte has developed expertise in project management, cybersecurity, data governance, and strategic planning. Monte holds a Master of Science in Information Technology Management and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from St. Ambrose University.
