Recreation Services Manager at City of Beverly Hills

Matthew Brown is the current Recreation Services Manager at the City of Beverly Hills. Additionally, they provided leadership and development opportunities to 50+ full/part-time staff, instructors, and volunteers - and developed community partnerships, connecting YMCA programs and staff with community partners and resources. Matthew also stewarded the overall growth of YMCA Sports & Recreation department programs and operations, through strategic planning, program innovation, financial development, and staff professional development.

Before their time at the YMCA, Matthew Brown was the Program Director at Boys and Girls Clubs of Huntington Valley from March 2016 to August 2017.

Matthew Brown's educational career includes studying journalism and communication studies at the University of Oregon, as well as business administration and management at Arizona State University.
