Amy Cheney

Amy Cheney has extensive experience in information technology and management, currently serving as the Chief Information Officer for the City of Bloomington, MN since 2018, where responsibilities include long-range planning and technology strategy as part of the executive leadership team. Prior to this role, Amy was the Information Systems Manager for the City of Bloomington from 2005 to 2018, overseeing daily operations, strategic planning, budgeting, and human resources within the Information Systems division. Previous positions include Information Technology Manager at the City of Minnetonka and Help Desk Representative at Delta Dental. Amy holds a Master's degree in Information Technology Leadership from The College of St. Scholastica and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Minnesota.
