Jake Berman

Jake Berman is an experienced planner currently serving as an Active Transportation/Vision Zero Planner for the City of Boston since May 2024. Previously, Jake worked at Toole Design Group from June 2018 to April 2024, holding various roles including Project Planner and Planner II. A research assistant at the University of Pennsylvania from August 2016 to May 2018, Jake contributed to a literature review examining the relationship between the built environment and traffic collisions. Educational credentials include a Master’s Degree in City Planning from the University of Pennsylvania, focusing on Sustainable Transportation and Infrastructure Planning, and a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Northeastern University.
