Mellissa Honeywood, RDN, currently serves as the Deputy Director of the Mayor's Office of Food Justice in the City of Boston, focusing on building an equitable and sustainable food system. Prior to this role, Mellissa was the Director of Food and Nutrition Services at Cambridge Public Schools for over a decade, leading efforts to provide high-quality, locally sourced meals for students. Previous experience includes positions as Staff Specialist, Chef/Dietitian at Baltimore City Public Schools, and Dietetic Intern at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center. Mellissa began culinary training as a Pastry and Garde Manger Chef at Red Stripe American Brasserie and also worked as a Personal Chef. Education includes a Dietetic Internship at Keene State College and a Bachelor's degree in Culinary Nutrition from Johnson & Wales University.
