Pamela Lomax currently serves as the Deputy Director of People & Culture for the City of Boston, a position held since May 2023. Previously, Pamela occupied the role of VP, Compliance and Operations at Roxbury Community College from November 2020 to November 2022, where oversight included human resources, information technology, auxiliary services, and campus safety. From June 2009 to November 2020, Pamela was an Administration and Finance Deputy for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, focusing on the financial operations of the MA Office of the State Auditor. Noteworthy contributions also include serving as Economic Recovery Project Manager for the Commonwealth, managing ARRA-funded programs, and holding the Assistant Vice President of Advancement position at Suffolk University from September 2007 to February 2009, where leadership was provided for a team managing gifts and donor relations. Pamela's earlier experience includes serving as the Administrative Director for The Civil Rights Project at Harvard University. Educationally, Pamela holds a Master of Public Administration from UMass Boston and a Bachelor’s degree in Human Services Management from Lesley University.
