Pat Nichols possesses extensive experience in firefighting and training, currently serving as the co-owner and instructor at PL Vulcan Training Concepts LLC since 2006, while also functioning as a squad officer for the US&R Team since 1995. Nichols has held multiple instructor roles with the Department of Fire Services/Mass Fire Academy since 1991 and as a fire captain for the City of Boston since 1986. Notably, Nichols was a district chief with Boston Fire from 1986 to 2015 and served as captain of Tower Ladder 10, integral to the City's Technical Rescue Team. Additionally, contributions to Urban Firefighter Magazine occurred between 2010 and 2011. Educational background includes a degree in Business Management/Transportation from Northeastern University, attained from 1980 to 1985.
