ToRena Webb-Thomas is an accomplished educator and arts consultant with extensive experience in teaching, storytelling, and performance. Currently serving as a Second Grade Teacher for the City of Boston since August 2014, ToRena also brings storytelling skills to ReadBoston as a Storyteller. An Independent Arts Consultant for Ethnic Expressions from August 2009 to March 2022, ToRena specialized in upscale African American art and decorative accessories, while also engaging with various educational and performance organizations such as Quintessence Edutainment and Young Audiences of Massachusetts. ToRena holds a Master of Education in Elementary Education from Wheelock College and a Bachelor of Science in Dance Choreography & Performance from SUNY Brockport. Additional educational credentials include studies in Dance at Edna Manley College of Performing Arts and an Associate of Arts in Theater from Roxbury Community College.
