Jason Tamming

Jason Tamming currently serves as the Director of Strategic Communications, Tourism & Events for the City of Brampton, leading a team of over 60 in various city-wide programs. Previous positions include Director of Strategic Communications, Culture & Events at the City of Brampton, and Director of Strategic Communications & Public Affairs for Niagara Region. Additionally, Jason Tamming has held roles in the Minister's Office under Hon. Steven Blaney, including Press Secretary and Special Assistant. Early career experiences comprise serving as Legislative Assistant to Member of Parliament Roxanne James and as a Research Assistant in the House of Commons. Educational background includes a Certificate in Applied Leadership and Public Affairs from Trinity Western University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Psychology from Redeemer University.
