John Romano

John (Giovanni) Romano is an experienced IT professional with a robust background in digital technologies and systems analysis. Currently serving as the Manager of Digital Technologies at Toronto Public Library since June 2021, John has been responsible for leading initiatives that enhance digital interaction and citizen engagement at the City of Brampton since January 2013. In previous roles as a Senior Implementation Analyst at Invatron Systems Corp. and as a Team Lead/Senior Systems Analyst at Loblaw Companies Limited, John demonstrated expertise in managing high-profile projects, architecting technological solutions, and coordinating national rollouts. John holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science/Business from Devry University, completed between 1995 and 1997.
