Sharmica Subenthirarajah currently serves as the Shift Lead for Security Operations at the City of Brampton, a position held since November 2023. Prior to this role, Sharmica was the Security Training Supervisor and Security Shift Supervisor at Humber College from November 2021 to November 2023, and also worked as a Security Guard at Seneca College from July 2020 to November 2021. Sharmica's previous experience includes serving as a Server at the Real Sports Bar and Grill for MLSE from August 2018 to July 2020, a Shift Lead at Amsterdam BrewHouse, and bartending at various establishments including Hoops Sports Bar & Grill and East Side Marios Restaurant. Sharmica began a career in customer service as a Customer Service Associate at HMSHost from February 2013 to October 2015. Sharmica holds an Honours Bachelor of Applied Science in Justice Studies and a Diploma in Police Foundations, both obtained from the University of Guelph-Humber between 2014 and 2020.
