Brent Smolarz, P.Eng., currently serves as a Development Reviewer at the City of Brantford since June 2022, focusing on the review of technical submissions for planning applications and the preparation of Subdivision Agreements. Previous experience includes working as an Engineer In Training at Meritech Engineering, where Brent provided technical reviews and quality control for project designs, and as a Junior Water Resources Engineering Intern at Ecosystem Recovery Inc., engaging in field surveying and site assessments. At C.F. Crozier & Associates, Brent contributed to hydrologic/hydraulic modeling and servicing design while also performing field assessments, and earlier experience includes an internship at GE Water & Process Technologies, where Brent gained industrial water treatment knowledge. Educational qualifications include a degree in Water Resources Engineering with Co-op from the University of Guelph, completed in 2018.
