Heather Carvalho

Heather Carvalho has over a decade of experience in communications roles, currently serving as the Manager of Corporate Communications and Community Engagement for the City of Brantford since March 2012. In this position, Heather has successfully implemented corporate-wide communication and public engagement strategies, ensuring clarity around the City's vision and services. Previously, Heather operated as the Communications Specialist for the City of Brantford from February 2017 and as the Tourism Information Coordinator, where responsibilities included digital marketing and media relations. Prior experience includes working as a Communications Specialist at Andrew Peller Limited. Education includes a Graduate Certificate in Public Relations from Humber College and a B.A. in Arts and Humanities from Western University.
