Joe Muto

Joe Muto serves as the Manager of Development Planning for the City of Brantford since January 2017, providing expert planning advice to various stakeholders and ensuring the efficient processing of development applications under the Planning Act. Prior experience includes roles as Senior Planner in the Urban Renewal Division and Development at the City of Hamilton, where responsibilities encompassed community improvement plans, strategic research, project management, and public consultations. Joe also worked as an EA Coordinator/Planner with the Ontario Public Service, focusing on environmental planning and assessments, and began as a Planning Technician at Halton Region. Joe holds a Bachelor of Applied Arts in Urban and Regional Planning from Ryerson University, obtained in 1997.
