Bill Smerdon

Bill Smerdon is an experienced attorney currently serving as City Attorney for both the City of Brawley since September 2014 and the City of Calipatria since May 1997. Prior to these roles, Bill Smerdon served in the US Navy as a Lieutenant in the Judge Advocate General's Corps from 1989 to 1994. Bill Smerdon earned a Juris Doctor from the University of San Diego School of Law between 1987 and 1990 and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science and Government from San Diego State University, completed in 1986.
