Thomas Garcia

Thomas Garcia currently serves as the Assistant to the City Manager for the City of Brawley since July 2022. Additionally, Thomas Garcia is a member of the Board of Directors for the State Association of County Employee Retirement Systems and has been involved with the FBI National Academy Associates since September 2017 as a graduate. Prior to these roles, Thomas Garcia was a Board Trustee for the Imperial County Employees Retirement System from January 2015 to June 2022 and held the position of Chief Deputy Sheriff at the Imperial County Sheriff's Office from March 1995 until June 2022, overseeing the Sheriff’s Corrections Division. The educational background includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration from Northern Arizona University and an Associate’s Degree in Administration of Justice from Imperial Valley College.
