Nelson Andrews

Nelson Andrews has a diverse professional background with extensive experience in the automotive industry and public service. Currently serving as Commissioner for the Tennessee Motor Vehicle Commission since October 2022, Nelson ensures the fair application of licensing laws in the state. Concurrently, as a City Commissioner for Brentwood, Tennessee since May 2019, Nelson contributes to local governance. Nelson has been involved in dealership operations at Andrews Cadillac/Jaguar Land Rover Nashville since March 1993 and has held a dealer position with Jaguar Land Rover Nashville since 1997. Previous roles include Systems Engineer at EDS and a Consumer Relations Representative for Cadillac. Nelson's educational background includes an MBA from Vanderbilt University and a BA in Political Science from the same institution.
