Chuck Paris

Chuck Paris is a dedicated labor representative and law enforcement professional with extensive experience in union leadership and policing. Since April 2020, Chuck has served as a Staff Representative for AFSCME Connecticut Council 4, emphasizing support for union members. As Union President of the Bridgeport Police Union Local 1159 since November 2009, Chuck has provided leadership, coordinated grievance resolutions, negotiated contracts, and represented members in various settings. Concurrently, Chuck has held the position of Police Sergeant with the City of Bridgeport, Connecticut, since October 1993, supervising patrol officers, preparing reports, and engaging with the judicial system to oversee arrest procedures.
