Steve Stanford

Steve Stanford serves as the Chairperson for the Texas Law Enforcement Accreditation Committee and Vice Chair of the Recognition Program Committee at the Texas Police Chiefs Association. Additionally, Steve holds a position as Chairperson at the Center For Emotional Wellness and is an Executive Advisory Board Member for the Texas Law Enforcement Peer Network. As Chief of Police and Assistant City Manager for the City of Bridgeport since May 1997, Steve oversees various police department operations. Involvement with the North Central Texas Council of Governments as a Criminal Justice Policy Development Committee Member and experience as a Crossfit Level 1 Trainer further illustrate Steve's diverse professional background. Educational qualifications include two Master of Public Administration degrees from Tarleton State University and a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Texas A&M University-Commerce.
