Coleen Mackin serves as a Councilmember for the Brisbane City Council since 2021, contributing to several council subcommittees, including Infrastructure, Utilities & Franchise, Public Information/Technology, Planning Issues, History, and Beautification. Mackin has been the Principal at Praxis Group since 2007 and previously held roles at the City of Brisbane, including Planning Commissioner and Chair of the Complete Streets Committee from 2013 to 2020. Mackin also served as a member of Brisbane CitComm and participated in the San Mateo County Civil Grand Jury from 2010 to 2011. Educational qualifications include a BFA in Graphic Communications/Photography from Louisiana Tech University, an AA in Journalism, Graphic Communications, Editorial Management, and Publication Design from City College of San Francisco, along with studies at the University of Wyoming and Casper College. Additionally, Mackin holds a position on the Peninsula Clean Energy Board of Directors.
