Nick Picek

Nick Picek is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in the golf and service industries. Currently serving as a Golf Technician for the City of Brookings since April 2020, Nick previously held roles as a Retail Banking Specialist at First Bank and Trust, a Golf Course Maintenance worker at Edgebrook Golf Course, and a Golf Lead/Golf Tech at DICK'S Sporting Goods, where responsibilities included reorganizing the golf department and providing training. Earlier experience includes serving as a Maintenance Technician at Elevate Living and a PGA Apprentice at Edgebrook Golf Course, where Nick managed operations in the pro shop and instructed golf lessons. Nick's career began as a Construction Laborer at Great Plains Enterprises, contributing to various home improvement projects. Nick is an alumnus of Southeast Tech, with studies completed between 2014 and 2016.
