Connor Traut

Connor Traut, Esq. is a distinguished legal professional and public servant with extensive experience in various leadership roles. As Vice Mayor, formerly serving as Mayor and Council Member, Connor has contributed to the governance of Buena Park since December 2018. In addition, Connor is a Trial Attorney at Traut Injury Law, a position held since August 2017. Previously, Connor served as a Trustee and President of the Centralia Elementary School District, where initiatives included increasing food services for disadvantaged children. Connor's judicial experience includes serving as a Judicial Law Clerk and as a Juvenile Justice Commissioner at the Orange County Superior Court. A strong advocate for youth engagement, Connor founded the Teen Leadership Council and chaired the Neighborhood Civic Council, launching impactful community projects. Education includes a Juris Doctor from Chapman University Fowler School of Law and dual Bachelor's degrees in Economics and Political Science from Chapman University.
