Elizabeth Swift

Elizabeth (Beth) Swift has an extensive background in education and community service, with over 30 years of experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving on the City Council of Buena Park since December 2010, Elizabeth has previously held the position of School Board Member for the Buena Park School District from 1979 to 2010, including seven years as Board President and five years as Board Clerk, overseeing vital decisions affecting the district. In addition, Elizabeth worked as an educator for the Fullerton Joint Union High School District from 1987 to 2010, taking on roles such as teacher, mentor teacher, and Dean of Attendance. Academic qualifications include a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from the University of Southern California and a Master's degree in Education/School Administration from Azusa Pacific University, along with a Bachelor's degree in Home Economics and History from CSU Long Beach.
