Mike Pesarchick, MUP, currently serves as the Resiliency Grants Manager for the City of Buffalo, New York, since August 2025. Previously, Mike worked as a Planner II and Historic Preservation Specialist for the City of Niagara Falls from December 2022 to August 2025, where responsibilities included managing historic properties and overseeing daily planning projects. Mike's experience also includes an internship with the City of Niagara Falls planning department and the city's Preservation Commission, as well as a role as a Planning and Development Intern at Ciminelli Real Estate Corporation. Prior to this, Mike worked as a Sales Associate at Bed Bath & Beyond and as a Sports Clerk for The Buffalo News. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in City/Urban, Community and Regional Planning from the University at Buffalo and a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and Urban Studies from Canisius University.
