Eric Garcia

Eric Garcia has a fire service career that has spanned 28 years, and has been the Burbank Fire Chief since December 2017.

Chief Garcia has held every rank in the Burbank Fire Department and has been a Chief Officer since 2012.

Chief Garcia received his Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Organizational Leadership from Brandman University. He also achieved his State of California Chief Officer certification.

Chief Garcia professional affiliations include the California Fire Chiefs Association, Los Angeles Area Fire Chiefs Association (LAAFCA), and Foothill/Area C Fire Chiefs Association.

Chief Garcia has been on the LAAFCA Executive Board since 2019 and was the 2021 LAAFCA President.
