Chris Bryan

Chris Bryan is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in public affairs and media relations. Currently serving as the Public Affairs and Media Relations Manager and Corporate Communications Manager for the City of Burnaby since March 2019, Chris has previously held significant roles including Senior Media Relations Advisor at TransLink, where responsibilities included serving as a corporate spokesperson and leading public affairs strategies. Prior experience also includes editorial leadership as Editor at Burnaby NewsLeader and South Delta Leader, contributing to awards such as the Newspaper of the Year by the Local Media Association. Chris holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from Simon Fraser University and a Diploma in Journalism from Kwantlen Polytechnic University.
