Mary Morrison-Clark, M. Ad. Ed. is an accomplished leader in the field of parks, recreation, and culture, currently serving as General Manager for the City of Burnaby since August 2022, where strategic leadership includes overseeing a staff of over 3,000 and managing an annual budget exceeding $130 million. Previously, Mary held the same title for the City of Abbotsford, managing a complex department with a $40 million budget and a significant staff complement. Earlier roles include Manager of Community, Recreation and Culture Services in Coquitlam, Sole Proprietor of Leisure First Consulting, Senior Manager of Community Programs at YMCA of Greater Vancouver, and Active Living Coordinator for Vancouver Coastal Health. With a Master's degree in Adult Education focused on Community Development, Mary has extensive expertise in service delivery, community health promotion, and strategic planning within the public sector.
