Rob Oates is the Airport Operations Manager for the City of Caldwell, Idaho, since August 2023, following a distinguished tenure as Airport Manager at Caldwell Executive Airport from December 2010 to August 2023. Oates managed one of the busiest General Aviation airports in the United States, overseeing interactions with pilots, hangar owners, and FAA offices, while also serving as a representative for the airport and city in local media engagements. Oates holds a B.S. in Business from the University of Idaho, completed the Armor Officer Advanced Course at Fort Knox, and graduated from Caldwell High School.
