Blanka Bracic

Blanka Bracic is an experienced professional in urban planning and transportation engineering, currently serving as the Manager of Public Spaces Project Development at the City of Calgary since August 2017. Bracic leads multidisciplinary teams in developing comprehensive plans for public infrastructure, including streets, parks, and transit systems. Previous roles include leadership positions within the Liveable Streets team, where policy implementation for sustainable transportation modes such as walking and cycling was a focus. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Sustainable Urban Planning and Design from the KTH Royal Institute of Technology and the University of Amsterdam, alongside a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Language and Literature from the University of Calgary.
