Michael Hausser

Michael Hausser is an experienced operations director currently overseeing various municipal services including Roads, Fleet, Parks, Trails, Forestry, Horticulture, Arenas, and Cemetery Operations for the City of Cambridge, Ontario since February 2021. Previously, Michael served as the Manager of Public Works for the County of Huron and as the Director of Asset Management for the City of Cambridge, where operations integrated municipal infrastructure with long-term planning and business intelligence enhanced through GIS technologies. Michael's career began at the City of Kitchener as the Manager of Database Administration and GIS, where the first geospatial municipal corporate database was designed. Earlier roles include Database Administrator at JP Haynes and Systems Engineer at Stantec/ITX, focusing on capital planning and work management systems. Michael holds a B. Eng in Civil Engineering from McMaster University, completed in 1992.
