Amy Yearsley Thomas

Amy Yearsley Thomas serves as the City Planning Manager for the City of Cape Coral, overseeing the functions and activities of the City Planning Division since November 2022. Previously, Amy held the position of Housing Coordinator within the Cape Coral Planning Division from December 2005 to November 2022, managing a budget exceeding $6 million and administering various grant programs such as CDBG and SHIP. Prior roles include Acting Planning Manager and Planner III at the City of Cape Coral, and positions in planning and emergency management across multiple organizations. Amy holds a Master of Arts in Geography and Planning from The University of Akron and a Bachelor of Arts in Geography from the University of Pittsburgh-Johnstown.
