Mariel Smith

Mariel Smith is an experienced accountant and finance technician currently working for the City of Carrollton since July 2023. Previous positions include Financial Services Associate II at Fidelity Investments, where Mariel was promoted twice and assisted clients with retirement savings plans, and various roles in customer service and finance at Target, SEPHORA, JCPenney Sephora, SDI Media, and Los Angeles County Department of Health Services. Mariel holds an Associate of Science in Business Administration Accounting and an Associate of Arts in Art/Art Studies from El Camino College, complemented by a Bachelor’s degree from Texas Woman's University.
