Sairam Jegatheeswaran has a diverse work experience in various roles and organizations. Sairam started their career as a Civil Engineer at City of Boroondara in 2015. After that, they worked as a Traffic Engineer at City of Sydney in 2016. Sairam also has experience working for Uber as a Partner from 2014 to 2019.

In 2016, Sairam joined Macedon Ranges Shire Council and held several positions including Civil Infrastructure Construction Officer, Acting Team Leader Road Maintenance, Acting Waste Management Officer, and Acting Coordinator Road Infrastructure Construction. Sairam coordinated various construction projects, managed contractors, and ensured the quality assurance of infrastructure assets.

Sairam then worked at City of Monash as the Coordinator of Infrastructure Maintenance from 2019 to 2022. Sairam supervised staff, managed maintenance programs, and provided support for emergency response services. Sairam also served as the Manager of Facilities and Infrastructure Maintenance on an acting basis.

In 2019, Sairam joined Milkman Grooming Co. as a Brand Representative and promoted grooming products. Sairam also worked as a Brand Representative for Mens grooming products at Milkman Grooming Co.

From 2022 to 2023, Sairam worked at East Gippsland Shire Council, where they held the role of Manager of Capital Projects and Plant. Sairam managed capital construction projects, building maintenance, asset management, and the fleet and plant management functions.

Currently, they are working as the Head of Facilities and Infrastructure at City of Casey, starting from 2023.

Sairam Jegatheeswaran pursued their education at Swinburne University of Technology from 2007 to 2013. During this time, they completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree with a specialization in Civil Engineering.

In addition to their formal education, Sairam obtained a certification as a Registered Professional Engineer from Consumer Affairs Victoria in November 2021. Thus, showcasing their commitment to professional development and enhancing their engineering skills.
