Julie Sorensen

Julie Sorensen is an experienced information systems professional currently serving as the Information Systems Manager for the City of Cedar Falls since May 2017. Prior to this role, Julie managed a team of nine as the Manager of Application Development at CBE Companies from April 2013 to April 2017. Other positions include Application Architect and Programmer II at CBE Group, Inc. from April 2011 to April 2013, and Project Manager for Oracle Business Systems at Waterloo Industries/Fortune Brands Storage and Security from February 2006 to April 2010. Julie began their career as a Business Analyst at Waterloo Industries in February 1995. Julie holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Management Information Systems from the University of Northern Iowa, completed in 1992.
