Gretchen Hayes

Gretchen Hayes is an experienced Community Events Coordinator with a strong background in parks and recreation management. Currently, at the City of Cedar Park since December 2021, Gretchen is responsible for coordinating and implementing community events while overseeing operations and managing budgets. Previous roles include Lifestyle Director at CCMC, where responsibilities included creating community programs and marketing events, and Recreation Manager at Peninsula Metropolitan Park District, where Gretchen developed a comprehensive recreation program for over 42,000 residents. Additionally, Gretchen served as Deputy Director of Parks and Recreation at the City of University Place, managing a department serving 31,000 residents. Gretchen holds a Bachelor of Science in Parks, Recreation and Leisure Studies from the University of Oregon.
