Marlo Alston

City Councilwoman at City of Centennial

Marlo Alston is an experienced public servant and community leader currently serving as a City Councilwoman for the City of Centennial since November 2017, representing over 110,000 constituents and participating in various committees. As a long-time member of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP), Marlo holds multiple leadership roles, including Chair of the Political Action Committee, where efforts focus on promoting equality and combating discrimination. Previous experiences include service as Vice President of a Homeowners Association, a member of the Public Affairs Committee for the Alliance of Professional Women, and involvement in various election campaigns and community organizations. Marlo Alston possesses a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Denver and has completed training in advocacy and campaign techniques.
