Jennifer Burke has a diverse work experience in the field of human resources. Jennifer started their career as an Executive Administrative Assistant at The Oconee Center in 2006 before becoming an Executive Administrative Intern at Oconee Regional Medical Center in 2007. Jennifer then worked as a Human Resource Generalist at Vulcan Materials Company from 2008 to 2011. Jennifer later served as a Human Resource Project Manager (Contract) at Emerson Process Management from 2011 to 2012. Jennifer then joined AutoNation as a Human Resource and Recruiting Specialist from 2012 to 2014. Jennifer then worked at Koch Business Solutions (KBS) as a Human Resource Supervisor from 2014 to 2016 and as a Human Resource Project Manager from 2016 to 2017. Currently, they are serving as the Human Resource Director at the City of Chamblee since 2017.
Jennifer Burke completed a Human Resource Management Certificate (PHR®/SPHR®) from The University of Georgia in 2014. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Management, AACSB Accredited, from Georgia College & State University, from 2004 to 2008. During their high school years from 2000 to 2004, Jennifer attended Lassiter High School and obtained a College Preparatory Diploma. In addition to their formal education, Jennifer Burke has also pursued certifications in Human Resource Management from both SHRM and the University of Georgia.
