Steven Lowe

Steven Lowe has extensive experience in education and property maintenance inspection. Currently serving as a Property Maintenance Inspector for the City of Champaign since July 2022, Lowe previously held significant educational roles, including Technology and Engineering Teacher at Champaign Unit 4 Schools and Career and Technical Education Department Head Teacher at Rantoul Township High School. During tenure at Rantoul, responsibilities included managing budgets, developing curriculum in various technical fields, and participating in collective bargaining. Additionally, Lowe served as Principal at Hutsonville High School, overseeing faculty evaluations, new teacher orientations, and professional development activities. With a strong academic background including multiple degrees from Clemson University and Eastern Illinois University, Lowe's professional training includes a certification as an Educational Administrator and a Professional Evaluator.
