Chris Price

Chris Price has extensive experience in public administration and community development, currently serving as City Manager for the City of Chesapeake since November 2019. Prior roles include Deputy County Executive for Prince William County, where responsibilities included Acting Executive Director of the Department of Economic Development and Director of the Planning Office. Chris also held the position of Executive Director at the Northern Shenandoah Valley Regional Commission and Assistant Director at the Centre County Government. Other notable positions include Senior Planner for the Centre Region Council of Governments and Planner/Senior Planner for the City of Chesapeake. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Penn State University and a Master of Public Administration from Old Dominion University.
