Aubrey Shombert

Aubrey Shombert is an Investigative Analyst at the City of Chicago Office of Inspector General since April 2022, focusing on evaluations of the Chicago Police Department and related entities to improve public safety and civil rights protections. Previously, Aubrey served as a Paralegal at The Cook Group, managing records for numerous toxic tort cases and assisting attorneys with trial preparations. Prior roles include Research Assistant positions at John Jay College and Chatham University, where Aubrey analyzed data related to police-involved shootings and contributed to various research projects. Aubrey holds a Master of Arts in Criminal Justice from John Jay College and a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology from Chatham University.
