Robert Todd has a diverse work experience that spans various roles and organizations. Starting in 2005, they worked as a German Teacher at Spring ISD, where they engaged and taught students the German language. In 2009, they transitioned to the position of Credit Recovery Teacher, supervising students working on internet-based courses and providing instructional support. From 2010 to 2012, they served as an Extension Center Teacher at Spring Independent School District, ensuring reeducation and behavioral modification for students placed in in-school suspension. In 2012, they joined K12 as a Contractor, evaluating and tracking student progress and facilitating online interactive courses. Todd's most recent role, starting in 2012, is with the City of Chicago Office of Inspector General. Within this organization, they have held positions such as Investigative Assistant, Technical Support Administrator, Senior Information Analyst, and Data Services Administrator. Robert is currently employed there as the Chief Information and Data Analyst.

Robert Todd attended Texas A&M University from 2001 to 2004, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in German Language and Literature. In addition, from 2001 to 2002, they also attended Blinn College, although it is unclear if they obtained a degree or pursued a specific field of study there.

Furthermore, Robert Todd obtained a certification in Texas Educator Secondary German from the Texas State Board for Educator Certification in September 2012.
