Harley Jones currently serves as the First Deputy Commissioner for the Department of Family and Support Services in the City of Chicago and as an Adjunct Faculty member at both Aurora University and the College of DuPage, teaching interdisciplinary studies and history courses. With over two decades of experience in non-profit leadership, Harley directed domestic programs for Project HOPE, focusing on health care initiatives and U.S. COVID response efforts, while having previously held executive roles at 360 Youth Services and the American Red Cross of Chicago and Northern Illinois. Harley's background also includes involvement with the BMW Foundation's Responsible Leaders Network and participation in key leadership committees addressing homelessness in DuPage County. Harley holds a Master's degree in European History from Illinois State University and a Bachelor's degree in History from Eastern Illinois University.
