Sydney Corryn serves as the Deputy Mayor of Intergovernmental Affairs for the City of Chicago, where responsibilities include managing relationships between various government entities. Previously, Sydney held the position of Principal at Cozen O'Connor Public Strategies and served as House Liaison in the Office of Legislative Affairs for Governor JB Pritzker. Additional experience includes working as Legislative Coordinator for Cook County Government and as a Research Analyst for the Illinois House of Representatives. Sydney holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Columbia College Chicago and is currently pursuing further education at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, with an expected completion date in December 2023.
