Aag Sara Hoang

Sara Hoang, PAg, is an experienced Environmental Services Specialist currently employed by the City of Chilliwack since March 2023. With a strong background in environmental science, Sara has previously held positions as an Environmental Scientist at IBI Group and Teranis Consulting Ltd., where significant responsibilities included conducting various phases of environmental site investigations, overseeing remedial activities, and ensuring compliance with environmental standards. In addition to technical expertise, Sara has experience in team leadership and public communication, demonstrated during a tenure as Tree Care Team Leader with Surrey's Natural Areas Partnership. Sara holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from Royal Roads University and has further academic experience from Kwantlen Polytechnic University.
