Jason Lum

Jason Lum is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in leadership and community engagement. Currently serving as a Program Engagement Specialist at the Excellence in Manufacturing Consortium since June 2023, Jason connects youth aged 16-21 to paid work placements in the manufacturing sector. Since December 2012, Jason has held the position of Chairman of the Board for the Fraser Valley Regional District, which serves over 275,000 residents across the Fraser Valley. Additionally, Jason has been a Councillor and Director for the City of Chilliwack since November 2011. Previous roles include President of the Myriad Group of Companies until June 2023, Acting Chair of the Fraser Valley Regional Hospital District, and President of the Chilliwack Chamber of Commerce. Jason holds an Associate of Arts degree from the University of the Fraser Valley, earned between 1999 and 2004.
