Mels Mbuyi, MAcc, is an accomplished accounting professional with extensive experience in tax planning, financial statements, and managing administrative activities. Currently serving as the CEO and Tax Expert at Mels & Kandre, LLC since January 2018, Mels prepares and files individual and small business tax returns. Mels holds multiple accounting roles with the City of Cincinnati, including Senior Accounting Professional, and has previously worked as a Tax Accountant at Tri State CPAs and an Accounting Consultant at Kforce Inc. Mels has a solid educational background with a Master's degree in Business Administration, Accounting from the University of Cincinnati, a degree in Economics from the University of Kinshasa, and additional education from Cincinnati State Technical and Community College.
